It appears that the height of the Church’s deviation from scriptures is highlighted by the fact that whereas the Bible says sexual immorality should not even be mentioned among us, it is not only named among us but is pursued by many of us. Shocking is the situation that, fornication is not only discussed among us outside the context of scripture but is actually advertised on our podiums through seductive clothing and sensualism. We have cohabitation coming to replace marriage in the name of courtship. And seemingly, the legality of sex in the religious circle of the church is no more about whether the two are married first, but whether they are faithful to each other as sex partners. We have tried to clean the lines and draw new ones. There are double lines now. The tough and bold one in the Holy Book, and the loud but unspoken one preachers now entertain; as the prevalence of the immoral culture seems to shut our mouths from ever voicing out the original design of the Creator and Judge of all.
As I prepare for my online session tomorrow and the official launch of the SEX CONFERENCE, I find a serious case for sexual purity that hasn’t been heard. And I like to echo the already spoken true spiritual wisdom from Paul, an Apostle of Grace.
1. The Body is Not for Sexual Immorality
Know, brother and sister, that your body is not for fornication and adultery. Your body is not for seduction and sexual impurity. Is sexual immorality the prime use you find for your gifted beauty? Your awesome breasts, attractive butts and bright complexion; they are all not for you to sell and get some money. They are not for prostitution, whether you are a professional or not. They are not for sale on Facebook to get you some Likes, Wows, and “Love” to boost your fake self-image and crown you “slay queen”. When you discover your beauty, discover its purpose. Because I assure you, most of the things beauty is used for today are merely abuse. And abuse is unhealthy for any body. Our bodies aren’t for sexual immorality.
Gentleman, your handsome and attractive physic has a purpose. And it’s not for getting more ladies to have sex with. It is not for being a play boy. Your strength and skill in bed, married man, is not a certificate for adultery. You can’t open branches outside your wife. You haven’t been given great sexual exuberance so you can sow seeds everywhere in town. You might have even been sick. And God had mercy on you, and healed you. Find some better use for your body, Mr. Find a better use of your body, madam. Your body isn’t for sexual immorality. It’s not for fornication, adultery, masturbation, seduction or homosexuality. Macho man, your muscles aren’t for raping the young girls. Your body isn’t for camping and molesting those ladies. Your body, o man, o woman, your body, dear preacher, dear lady and gentleman, precious brother and sister in the Lord; is not for sexual immorality.
2. Your Body is for the Lord and the Lord for it
God cares so much about you that He has established an open covenant to keep your body safe and sound. He has paid every necessary cost to keep your body strong and glorious. As your Father, He has committed Himself to protecting your very body as the Apple of His own eyes. Dare you not disrespect God’s love. And put that body right in the hands of Satan the Torturer by consenting to fornication and adultery. Do not sell yourself to the devil after that God has bought you with the precious price of Christ’s blood. Do not spit in the face of your Redeemer by proclaiming love for the very wickedness and hell He saved you from.
Your body is for the Lord Jesus. Why do you put that body under a harlot? Why do you have whoredom and lust lavished on you and the spirit of lust smeared and sweated all over you? Why do you enter into dangerous covenants and have the devil supervise and officiate your union with the immoral? O man of God, graced of God. Why have you fallen to the mud with the pigs and come to have gluttonous appetite for their absurdity and dirtiness?
Your body is for the Lord. But why are you being used by married men, my friend? Why are those fingers digging in your private parts? Why have you made darkness your Eden? Your body is for the Lord. Why is it carelessly and ruthlessly exposed, giving Satan a pulpit to draw many into lust? Why is the devil using your body to advance his business when it is actually for the Lord?
That hand should have been healing the sick and imparting the anointing. Why is it fondling the virgin breasts of that Christian sister or that unbeliever and harlot? Your body should have been actively walking about and winning souls for Jesus. Why is it now owned by a man or woman who hasn’t married you? Why is God’s bona fide property now been hired per night stand? How much money for your honey? You are in a contract of sin. He pays, he gets. And we are not ashamed. It is a principle now?! That in courtship, the man gives money and the woman gives sex? Your body is for the Lord. When He has not made anyone a steward over it through marriage, why are you abusing it and giving it freely for abuse?
3. Your Body is Part of Christ’s Body
Would Christ indulge in sexual immorality? What do you mean then, that after you have become a member of His body and your very body has become a part of His, you happily indulge in sexual immorality. You are like the son of Nebuchadnezzar who used the holy vessels of the temple for his idolatry party and orgy. The hand of God wrote against him but he couldn’t read. Immediately, his knees began to quake. For he had intentionally defiled what was sanctified unto God. If you destroy God’s holy temple which is your body, stand by (wait for it), you will be destroyed. If you don’t repent, your sins have entrapped you and bound you in cords. If you are defiling God’s holy vessels, sleeping with the church girls or the gentlemen, seducing them into mental impurity and meditative sex, you are like Belshazzar. And there is a writing against your life. You make fornication condition of service and demand sex before you employ or promote workers? Dare defile a temple of God, and His hand will be against you. Unless you Repent and receive God’s forgiveness, the fire in your bosom will soon consume you. You will be reduced to a crust of bread and you will prey upon your own precious life. Why waste your life? If you don’t love your life, give it to someone who does. Give it to Jesus Christ.
Repent, beloved. Flee sexual immorality. For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. You have received Grace not to remain under the dominion of sin. Flee!
