GET OUT (2) – 8 STEPS FROM EGYPT

Last week, we began a message on the weekly blog that discussed first four of eight identified landmarks in Moses’ banter with the terrible tyranny of Pharaoh for the release of Israel out of Egypt.

We’ve been relating this to our release from Satanic claws of addiction, sin and all forms of bondage.

Let’s take the next four steps!

5. I will let you go; you don’t need to stay ANY LONGER (Exod. 9:28)

After God rained hail in the seventh plague, Pharaoh now begins to give the Israelites hope of a timeline. He says, “I will let you go; you won’t stay any longer”. In other words, they won’t stay any longer. They will be leaving soon. He doesn’t say they should go. He says, they will go.

Is a certain promise keeping you in the land of bondage? Who has promised you tomorrow you can be saved? Who says you still have some time? Satan doesn’t mind you being saved, as long as it will happen tomorrow. Because Satan knows that the day of salvation is Today.

The Bible says that God designated a day for your rest and that day is called Today. (Hebrews 4:7) Satan doesn’t mind you forgiving people, as long as it’s going to happen tomorrow. But God says, “don’t let the sun go down on your anger.” Don’t postpone your freedom by postponing your forgiveness. Satan doesn’t mind if your addiction ends, as long as it happens tomorrow. Satan doesn’t mind if you stop sinning, as long as it’s in your tomorrow. Satan doesn’t mind if you’ll be free and prosperous, as long as it’s all going to happen tomorrow.

Pharaoh says they will go, in the not so distant future. Where it suits Satan, he can be your champion of hope. As long as today belongs to Satan, tomorrow can be for God and he cares not. Don’t be deceived by Pharaoh’s message of hope. Demand deliverance today!

Demand NOW! RESCUE your now!

6. Who exactly will be going? I will never let you go with your family? Just able-bodied men… (Exod. 10:8-11)

At this point, after the eighth plague of locusts, God is gradually breaking the hold of Pharaoh over his children. Pharaoh now agrees that some of the Israelites can go. The men can go, but the women and children should stay behind. That way, Pharaoh would be sure that the men will return.

Satan can negotiate for your release, as long as you will return to his cells. Satan can allow you some freedom, as long as it won’t last forever. He will pull you back through your friends. He will pull you back through your family. He will pull you back through the things you value.

And then Satan wants the men to go without the women and children because he doesn’t mind if a man is saved, as long as he cannot produce more saved people. He doesn’t mind if few people are on God’s side. As long as he controls the womb of women and the life of children, Satan will build his kingdom.

But I see a man reading this right now. You want your family saved. You want your wife saved. You want your children saved. You want your church delivered. You don’t want one man to be delivered from poverty. You want the whole family rescued. You don’t want one man to be free from satanic patterns. You want your whole house saved. In the name of Jesus, insist on that. Break the enemy’s hold over your life, you family, your friends. Break it in Jesus’ Name.

Don’t settle on your personal freedom only and still entertain friends who don’t want to be free. Change your friends, because they can draw you back to Pharaoh. Fight for your family. Fight for your team. Fight for your marriage. Save them all. Jesus saves one and saves the household. Hallelujah 🙌

So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:31, NKJV)

7. Go with your family but NOT YOUR FLOCK (Exod. 10:24)

Oh Hallelujah! Now, Pharaoh’s bargain is that the humans can go but the flock must stay. They can go as long as their finances stay? We refuse it in Jesus’ Name. Our finances will receive freedom with us.

They can go while their wealth remains? In the name of Jesus’, we seek total freedom.

They can go while their ability to sacrifice unto God is limited? No! We will have life and life abundantly. We will not go on in leanness but in flourishing strength. We will thrive.

Satan wants you to declare “Jesus is Lord” while you’re starved spiritually and physically. No! We will not be malnourished in our freedom. May the LORD release your prosperity, your wealth, your resources, in Jesus’ Name.

The flock represented food for sustenance, sacrifices to God, and wealth.

8. Get OUT IMMEDIATELY, both you and the Israelites, and GO, WORSHIP THE LORD as you have said. Take EVEN YOUR FLOCKS and your herds as you have asked and LEAVE, and ALSO BLESS ME. (Exod. 12:31)

Total freedom is possible. He who the Son sets free is free indeed. FREE INDEED is possible. God resisted Pharaoh by every means. After the 10th plague, the death of the firstborns and the blood of the lamb brought total deliverance.

This is deliverance for us – total deliverance, complete freedom from Satan and sin.

This is deliverance that sends us far away. The Bible says we have been seated with Christ far above principalities and powers.

This is deliverance that extends to our household. The Bible says Christ is able to save us and our household.

This is deliverance that includes our herds. God doesn’t leave us poor and lacking in this freedom. God supplies all our needs.

This is deliverance that happens immediately. It’s not deliverance tomorrow. It’s deliverance now. It’s freedom now. Pray, in Jesus’ Name, total freedom now.

This is deliverance by which God brings the Oppressor under the formerly oppressed. Pharaoh now wants a blessing from Moses and Aaron. He was now under them. This is deliverance that subdues Satan to God’s power. In Jesus’ Name, may the power of God rule over your oppressors. Amen

Receive your liberty in Jesus’ Name!
Total freedom!
